Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel founder Abi Purser is delighted to have won the Barclays ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award at this year’s prestigious SME Business Awards. The award was presented to Abi at the glamorous Awards Final on Thursday 20 June 2019 at Hunton Park Hotel, Hertfordshire.
The SME (Small Medium Enterprise) Awards aim to raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising SME’s in the county. The dedicated team at Longcroft were delighted to be shortlisted for an award this year.
Abi said of her win: “We are hugely proud to win the Barclays Entrepreneur of the Year SME Business Award. It means a great deal to me and all of the team working at Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Group to be recognised in this way. It reflects our focus on excellence throughout all of our five-star cat hotels and our drive to be the best in all that we do.”
The expert judging panel at the awards, made up of representatives from successful UK business, felt Abi embodied the entrepreneurial spirit, recognising her vision, creativity, enthusiasm and tenacious approach. Her hard work is reflected in the incredible growth that the Longcroft Cat Hotel Group has seen since it was founded in 2010. As of June this year, with the opening of Longcroft Orpington, there are now 20 Longcroft Luxury
Cat Hotels in the country, with more in the pipeline for this year and next – a reflection of the ever-growing demand for the group’s high level of service and expertise.
The British Library Business & IP Centre has also recently recognised Longcroft’s growth and success when they invited Abi Purser to attend a breakfast reception at the House of Lords this July. This special reception will launch the Independent Economic Impact Report of the BIPC National Network and Longcroft has been selected as one of only ten UK businesses to attend the event, being recognised for their exceptional innovation and
growth.
