Congratulations to Abi Purser for being chosen as a finalist in the “Business Person of the Year” category of the Herts Business Awards 2014!

What would your franchisees say makes you the Herts Business Person of the Year? 

Well, my team nominated me! Thanks, guys, it is great to have all my hard work recognised by being nominated for this prestigious award!
I’d like to say that the super support we are giving our franchisees and the great team make me the successful individual that I am. But it’s not all down to me, every franchise is a little success story and my franchisees should be business persons of the year, too. We are, after all, the Longcroft family!

Apart from the Longcroft family, you also have your other family: husband, 3 children and one dog. What would they say makes you the Business Person of the Year?

I think my family appreciate that I have a great work life balance. I work from home, and my hours are flexible and work around our busy family life. I actually make sure that everybody who works for and with Longcroft can achieve the same – a job that fulfils and wraps around your family.

What impact do you hope this nomination will have on your business?

It is a great achievement, and always helps if your business is recognised by an independent body. I would hope that more people will come and join the Longcroft family! We are ready to expand and actively seek new partners, in Hertfordshire and beyond.
