Longcroft Creeting St Peter offers just eight luxury suites, each with its own climate-controlled bedroom, leading to a private, safe, play area, complete with multi-storey viewing platforms for feline guests to play or relax. The peaceful location is perfect for both indoor and outdoor guests. With gorgeous views over owner LJ’s two acres of garden, which plays host to lots of birds, rabbits, hares and deer, there will be plenty of natural entertainment for feline guests to watch from the comfort of their suites.

Creeting St Peter is a small, historic and charming village nestled in Mid Suffolk’s Gipping Valley. Located between Stowmarket and Needham Market, just off the A14, the hotel is surrounded by fields and farmland but is conveniently close to Ipswich and Colchester. Situated at the end of a tiny lane, with wrap around garden and a meadow, the hotel is located to the side of LJ’s home, overlooking her beautiful, mature garden. So, she is always close at hand to cater to her feline guests’ every need.

    Meet The Family

    LJ and her husband of 28 years, Jon, adore all things feline – as a couple they have always lived with at least two cats, including rescue kitties and pedigree pussycats. Their home has never been without pets, always cats and sometimes other animals too - currently they have six chickens as well as their three cats: a ginger tom named Roo, a Scottish Fold called Trudy and Percy, a Maine Coon. They even took their pet cats with them when they lived overseas for a time and adopted more while they were there! So they have plenty of experience caring for a wide range of cats, with their different personalities and needs. Longcroft Creeting St Peter is a real family affair, with LJ’s husband, plus their grown up son and daughter, joining in the cat cuddles at the weekends. Kitties will receive plenty of one-on-one human interaction and expert care.

    Now they are settled in their gorgeous forever home, LJ is excited to be stepping away from her job at a tech firm to focus on caring for other people’s cats while they are away:

    It was my first time keeping my cat at Longcroft cat hotel and it was the best decision I made. Loria was such a great host and took great care of my cat while I was away. The regular updates and photos was really assuring. Luna enjoyed her stay and was well taken care off. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely keep my cat there again

    Impeccable service from Lorna

    And OMG, thank god for Lorna and Longcroft Bury St Edmunds! Strudel was so well cared for and clearly had a great holiday himself! So much so he didn't want to leave Lorna and even pined for her for a while (well at least till he spotted butterflies that needed chasing in the garden). We are thrilled that from now on we can go away and relax knowing our boy is cared for in a way that could not be even remotely bettered elsewhere. We had regular updates and photos of him from Lorna, and it was soooo reassuring to see Strudel happy and enjoying himself. Impeccable service from Lorna, providing not just a spacious comfortable, clean home for her guest cat's, but real care and love too.

    Felicia took excellent care of my cats and we were relieved to see constant updates and pictures of our cats almost every day.  This was truly an excellent service and one that we will continue to use in the future.

    Truly heartwarming

    Fliss took excellent care of my Bengal X, Maverick. It was his first cat hotel/cattery stay, the kindness showed to get him settled in was truly heartwarming. The daily updates and photos were such a comfort to me! He looks like he had a lot of fun, including the toy advent calendar! He also enjoyed lots of cuddles with Fliss and his care was tailored to what he enjoys :) I wouldn’t want to take him anywhere else, and he’s already booked in for his next stay!!

    Immaculately clean and stimulating accommodation

    This was the first time I left my cats in boarding accommodation. From the very first moment I spoke to Lorna I knew that they would be extremely well cared for. She is a lovely and friendly person who bent over backwards to manage to accommodate them at what must be a very busy time of year for her (August). She answered any questions I had quickly. Nothing is too much trouble for Longcroft and my two cats were superbly looked after. Whilst we were away Lorna emailed me some lovely pictures of my cats who were clearly enjoying the attention in their immaculately clean and stimulating accommodation. The standards of hygiene cannot be faulted. They were regularly groomed and played with and could watch the wildlife from their windows happily. It's a fantastic place and two very happy cats came home with some treats from Longcroft in tow. I cannot rate them highly enough and only hope there is space for them next time we go away.
