    So impressed with the excellent service and cleanliness

    I have used Longcroft Cat Hotel St Albans for the first time and I was so impressed with the excellent service and cleanliness of the rooms that I would recommend it to any cat owner. Ollie loved his little bed and when I collected him he was calm and looking very clean and smart. Gill obviously adores cats and made him feel at ease during his stay. Thank you Gill and a big kiss from Ollie!

    I would recommend Gill to anyone that has cats and assure you that they will be looked after exceptionally well and they will also enjoy their holiday whilst you enjoy yours! Trying to find a cattery that you trust, feel that your cat is safe and in a clean and healthy environment is difficult to do (especially if you have not left your cat before) but as soon as I met Gill and delivered our 6 month Kitten Peanut to her I felt so happy and any worry soon disappeared. Gill is a lovely caring person who treated Peanut as one of her own, The Luxury Cat Hotel is spotless, clean, plenty of room in the suite and he was looked after so well I don't think he wanted to come home!

    We knew we had found the purrfect place

    We found Gill's cat hotel by luck when we were looking for a nice place to stay for our little cat Bella. As soon as we met Gill we knew we had found the purrfect place. Immaculately clean and warm, the Longcroft Cat Hotel is top class. Gill went out of her way to ensure that Bella was exceptionally well cared for. We received daily texts and photos which was a lovely touch and very reassuring. When Bella came home, she was very contented and settled. Clearly, she had had a very happy holiday!! Highly recommended.

    We've already booked again for our Summer break

    Maya has just returned from a 10 day stay being pampered by the wonderful Gill at Longcroft St Albans. I don't mean to be disparaging about the hard working people at 'normal' catteries but Maya returned from one of the better ones in the Summer clearly traumatised. She is a timid pedigree and mainly an indoor cat. She was so much happier at Longcroft and this time we could also relax while we were away, enjoying the regular pics and emails from Gill. Maya could enjoy her regular food, toys and bowl and was perfectly groomed too. We've already booked again for our Summer break. Thanks again Gill.

    A lovely, peaceful location

    Amazing service from Ann and so accommodating. She was so patient and explained everything thoroughly from the very beginning. She sent photos of our little cat Miku which was great reassurance. The hotel is set in a lovely, peaceful location which I loved and I am sure Miku appreciated too. Will definitely be booking her again.

    Was wary of my cats staying away from home for the first time and Ann did a lovely job of easing my worries. The boys were well looked after, fussed over and played with and treated like real VIP guests. We received great updates throughout too

    We were really apprehensive about using any cattery. Our cats had never been away from home and we were going on holiday for 3 weeks. We needn't have worried. Lucy was a fantastic host - she kept us informed via email with updates and pics. The cats were clearly well looked after and had enjoyed their holiday just as much as we had.

    From the minute we dropped Cleo off to this exceptionally clean and welcoming cattery we felt that she was going to have an enjoyable stay. She came back to us well roomed well fed and happy. Highly recommend this place

    My partner and I were very anxious to ensure our beloved cat was cared for whilst we were away - we love our cat dearly and wanted the piece of mind that she would be well looked after. We found Longcroft St Albans and we cannot recommend Lucy more strongly - we got daily updates with pictures which was incredibly reassuring. Our cat was returned well pampered and cared for - Lucy really does provide a home from home and we will certainly be leaving our cat in her care when we are away in the future.

    Such a lovely place, and Lucy was just fantastic throughout the whole process. I felt really confident leaving my two ragdoll cats with her for a week. She sent regular updates and photos which was reassuring for me as I’d never left them anywhere before. They came home very well groomed and sprightly too! Would recommend wholeheartedly.     Our Yogi Bear had the best stayHe was very happy and loved all the attention, game playing, spa treatments. I never had to worry as I received e mails and photos of him virtually every day.He was given a going home present of a lovely blanket and he was sleeping on it last night!He came home looking so well groomed and very happy. I cannot praise Lucy and Longcroft St Albans enough !

    I can't recommend Longcroft enough. The facilities are impeccable. Lucy would send us pictures every other day and I could tell how well cared for Lillith and Musashi were. Happy cats

    Lucy is just amazing. She is very easy to talk to and took very good care of my little ones. I was able to visit the hotel before deciding to leave my cats there and Lucy showed me where the cats would stay. The place is very neat and tidy. She sent lots of pictures and our cats were very relaxed when they came back home after 2 weeks. Robbie safely drove the cats home by car, which was very helpful. I'll definitely let my cats stay there again on my next holiday. Many thanks Lucy and Robbie.

    Reggie our cat seemed to really enjoy his stay with Gill the owner. She kept us updated with lots of photos which was great and he has come home with some new toys and treats! He will be coming back at some point 100%

    Gill is wonderful. The premises are always clean and well kept. Our cats are always well looked after and happy. Gill is brilliant with them and sends us updates of the cats while we're away.

    We have left Miya under Gill’s care for 2 weeks whilst we traveled abroad. Miya is very timid and gets stressed easily, which leads to some health problems. As we didn’t have good experience with previous catteries, I was extremely anxious. It turned out that I was worried for no reason, as Gill was absolutely FANTASTIC! She send us a regular updates on Miya’s health and behaviour putting me at ease. When we came to pick Miya up, she was clean, calm, taken care off and in great condition! She also received a bye bye gift in a bag with her own picture, which was a really nice touch!The place is spotlessly clean, with bed and heating. Gill not only puts her heart in her job, but is also a lovely person.Thank you Gill! We will definitely bring Miya in next time!

    My baby ( cat) kiki had a the best time. She usually has a hard time in catteries but Gill understood her and they got on perfectly. So sweet she even got her own Christmas present box with loads of treats we can’t wait to unwrapped once we are home. Will let her have my baby many times over. Sad she is already fully booked for next Christmas. Clearly I’m not the only one happy with her services.

    Gill is excellently (Loncroft St Albans ) You can Leave your cat at Loncroft with 5 million stars!!!We were nervous about leaving our two cats Bow and Biscuit. We were away for over two weeks Gill kept us updated via email with photos of what the kitty's were up to which was calming. I was surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the accommodation, and the size of the rooms (they call them suites and I understand why)and the caring attitude of Gill. I have never written a web review before which hopefully tells you all you need to know! Both kitties have settled back home really well and love there goody bag. I will be using Loncrift again. Thank you Gill X

    I can highly recommend Longcroft Cat Hotels; they really do love and care for the cats in their care. Its such a lovely set up, spotlessly clean, and makes the cats feel as at home as they can be. The pictures we received were a great comfort and he returned home a happy cat - wish we had found Longcroft sooner!!
