Hello cat lovers,

thank you all for coming along to the opening of Longcroft Southport on Saturday!

Here are a few impressions of the opening day for you if you missed it:

Family, friends, neighbours and curious cat owners were all keen to have a good look at the newest addition to the Longcroft family. Longcroft Southport is situated in a quiet location in Birkdale, Southport, in Merseyside. Liverpool airport is within an hour’s reach and it is ideally located for cats living in neighbouring Lancashire (Preston, Chorley) and Greater Manchester.

Featuring 5 heated luxurious suites, each with their own wrought iron beds and exercise area, the cat hotel is set in the lovely garden of the owner Harvey Summers’ home, surrounded by mature trees and with plenty of wildlife to keep the guests entertained.

Abi, founder of the Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel group, and Harvey, owner of Longcroft Southport, were happy to answer questions and show everyone around the five heated suites, which offered a welcome break from the chilly weather outside.

We would like to thank the Mayor of Sefton, Cllr Kevin Cluskey, for officially opening the hotel. A cat owner himself, Cllr Kevin Cluskey knows how difficult it is to find the right holiday care for his own cat and  pointed out how Longcroft perfectly meets the area’s need for a quality cattery.
