Opening Longcroft Creeting St Peter

Opening Longcroft Creeting St PeterLocal residents, customers and friends, including the Mayor of Creeting St Peter, Cllr Terence Carter, gathered on the afternoon of Saturday 5th October 2024 for the Grand Opening of Creeting St Peter’s new, state-of-the-art luxury cat hotel!  It was the purrrfect start for the exciting new business, owned and run by LJ Boulter and her animal loving family.  LJ and her husband Jon were also joined by representatives from local animal charity Feline Care Cat Rescue and local vets. Longcroft Creeting St Peter is the 26th hotel to open under the successful Longcroft brand, which offers five-star accommodation for feline guests while their owners are on holiday.  It represents a welcome addition to the very popular hotel already operating in Bury St Edmunds.

As well as sampling Longcroft cupcakes and Prosecco, guests were excited to see for themselves the gorgeous boutique hotel’s facilities and stunning setting. Cat loving Mayor Cllr Terence Carter and his family attended the event and cut the ribbon, announcing the hotel officially open.  LJ presented a hamper to Charlotte from Feline Care Cat Rescue, which included items from their much needed wish list as well as food and treats.  LJ was delighted to see such a large and enthusiastic turnout: “I’m so excited to be opening my very own cat hotel, and thrilled that so many people turned out today to celebrate the start of this new venture for me and my family in Creeting St Peter!  Thank you to everyone in the community for their support!  I’m already loving taking care of my first feline guests at the hotel and can’t wait to offer the same home-from-home level of care and attention to many more gorgeous pussycats in the future!”
